) Where do i begin. Rita s one of the best rollercoasters in Alton Towers. I got to the front of the ride, the only downside is that the q took forever. When the ride had finished i was kinda annoyed because it only lasted approxomitley a minute ! But it i s really good. I went on and never linked once (i couldn't anyway). This is a must ride when at Alton Towers.
Charly Bigpotatoes: () I thought Rita was great, I too went on an off peak day and rode it 4 times on the bounce, I wouldn't recommend that though as my head started to pound. Anyone who hasn't enjoyed it is probably more annoyed that they qued up for so long.
Chiz: My favourite ride in the whole world (except from stealth). I always get fastrack though so I only need to wait like 30mins for front row.
jack king: Rita is a great ride and the only way to ride it is in the front the back no way its worth waiting 30 mins extra for the front although after waiting on average 60-90 min queue you should just sit anywhere.

) Was really disappointed when i went on this ride it was not what i had expected as i thought it would feel alot faster then what it actually did. I have been on stealth at thorpe park and that was alot more thrilling than this ride. It was also fairly uncomfortable as i did hurt my neck after the first bend.
Sally: () It's a great ride but I queued for 2 and 1/2 hours and it's not worth it. I agree it should go round twice, and AT should really introduce the Fastpass as it is by far the longest queue time in the park. The longest you should wait is 1 hour- if you are despearate 1 and 1/2. It is a fab ride though, and is great fun.

) It was an ok ride but to be honest the build up was much better than the actual ride. I queud for 1 hour and 20 minutes and for what!!! A 50 second ride a complete waste of time.
Mark: () It was amazing, the launch just throws you at a high speed along the track and the feeling is amazing.
Charlotte K: () I think that its a great beginner thrill ride. But, I think Air and Nemisis are much better. On Rita the ride should go round twice. I think the Single Riders Queue was Stupid. I was in the Group Queue and I got on faster than my 19 year old brother - He didn't want to ride with me - And he was in the singles Queue.

) I totally agree with the two bad comments about Rita, I queued for over 2 hours for Rita and was totally disappointed. I came off Rita with no thrills, only a sore neck. I also nearly got hit by a person's phone as I walked away that must have fallen out. Very disappointed in Alton Towers!
Adam K: () Rita was great but had it's disappointments. I'm hard pressed to think of a ride with a more forceful punch than this, but it's over to quickly and isn't worth queuing more than half hour for. Rock 'n Rollercoaster at Disney is far better. It should have had some loops put in it but even without it's still amazing.
Adam: () I totally agree with that last comment. What a waste of money. I queued 1hr 30 on my own for this ride and when I eventually got on the ride it was over so fast that I felt nothing. No 5.7G only the wind blowing in my face. If I want wind blowing in my face I will stick my head of out a car window. I am really disappointed with Rita!
Phil: () What a waste of money, all Rita has achieved is bringing needless amounts of guests to the UG Land area and brought more attention to corkscrew. I rode it the day it opened and was most disappointed (shame I couldn't give half a star).
Sian: () I think Rita is amazing, one of my favourite coasters! I was really scared sat waiting for the lights to go and the dreaded "go go go" but the airtime is fabulous, its a must ride on every Alton trip!
Daniel B: () Rita is definitely my best Alton Towers ride. It may last 20 seconds, but if it were any longer it would get boring. The speed is relentless & almost everything about the ride is superb, especially the fact it pulls 4.7 G, Alton's most intense ride!
Dan: () Rita - Queen of Speed is a good ride but the main problem with it is that it does not fit in with UG Land. Otherwise the ride itself is great, 4.7G makes it great for thrill seekers and then also the airtime throughout the ride which is fun. The launch is breathtaking, pinned back to your seat while the speed gathers, and the Gs grow on you. Rita is a short ride but wouldn't be any better if it were longer. Great fun and thrills.
Marcus: () She really was a super ride, at the start is the best when you shoot off with 4G of fun! It gets a little slower to the end but its worth the queue!
David Morgan: () Rita is amazing. I have to say this is the first time I have really felt air time on a coaster. The aspect I most love about Rita is the originality it isn't another carbon copy of the other launch coasters around the world it is a genuinely unique experience. A great rush!
Dan: () Only let down by some patchy theming, Rita - Queen of Speed was the first launcher in Europe and offers something completely different. The course is packed with airtime and a massive 4.7G makes for big thrills. It's short and sweet but definitely worth it. Fantastic.
Anthony W: () I'm surprised that Rita has been given such a bad review. I queued for 90 minutes for it and I remember saying 'that was worth it' afterwards, perhaps this was because we had the front seats. Rita is over far too quickly and it looks plain, no where near as atmospheric as Nemesis. I've only been on it once as the queues are always huge but try sitting at the front before giving Rita a review.

Callum: () The only good part of the ride is the launch, the rest is just slow turns. I was really disappointed. I thought it would be a lot better.

Philip: () Oh dear, o dear, o dear. Where to start. What a load of rubbish, Rita is by far the biggest mistake Alton Towers have made. Poorly themed and far too short. They could of at least made the seats comfy after all that queuing!

Andy R: () EASILY the best ride ever - 0-60mph in 2.5secs! The 'air time' hills nearly give you a nose bleed! Awesome ride - we went on an off peak day so we were able to get straight back on for another go!
