Thursday 13^th November 2008 - Almost a month ago Towers Nerd reported that Alton Towers had applied for permission to demolish the existing 3D Cinema building and construct a new replacement indoor attraction. It has previously been rumoured that a Sea Life Centre would be making it's way to the park for 2009, so it was an easy connection to make, that this proposed indoor attraction would be the rumoured aquarium.

Now further evidence of the Sea Life Centre has become availaible with the addition of the plans submitted to the Staffordshire Moorlands Council. The plans shows the intended themeing of the attractions entrance and also it's exact size and position in Mutiny Bay.

As the plans show, the entrance to the attraction will be situated between the Eastern Express food outlet and the Mutiny Bay Shoppe, with the attraction exiting into the rear of the Mutiny Bay Shoppe. The entrance will be themed in a similar style to the rest of Mutiny Bay, with a lot of weathered wood and possible Octopus themeing.
